Great speakeasy! It's beautiful decorated. My cocktails were $13'ish each and really good. I specifically asked them to make them not sweet and they turned out delicious. I loved the oysters mushrooms. The jalapeño chicken was good enough to have with drinks. The staff was great! I'd definitely recommend this place.

Usually, this bar is one of my favorite spots, but the Halloween event was a bit of a letdown. The decor and atmosphere were amazing, and they really went all out for the theme, which I appreciated. However, it was way too crowded to fully enjoy, and the service suffered because of it--long waits and overwhelmed staff. I'll definitely come back because they're usually great, but they might want to rethink capacity for special events in the future.

This is definitely a hidden gem in downtown Birmingham. Because it's a speakeasy it's a little hard to find which I guess makes sense. I got a great Gatsby vibe from this place. There was lots of vintage furniture and a beautiful chandelier in the bar area. It's dark and romantic. Definitely a great place for a date night or a girls night out. The music was different, but I liked it. It really made me feel like I was made back in like the 20s. The bartenders were very attentive. The food that was served was an Asian fusion it was pretty good

Marble Ring is where it's at. One of the pictures was taken off my snap so it's a screen hot but let's go ahead and review. This yakitori joint is an explosion of flavors that hits you right in the taste buds. Which is great because there are no yakitori places in Birmingham. Let's start with the fried chicken skins. Holy hell, these things are crispy as hell! Each bite is a salty, savory delight that you can't help but keep shoveling into your mouth. They're like little crunchy clouds of happiness--perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of grease. Then there's the A5 steak. Man, this isn't just steak; it's a freaking revelation. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that makes you want to weep with joy. The marbling is out of this world, and it's cooked to perfection--medium-rare that practically oozes flavor. You take a bite and it's like the heavens opened up. And let's not forget the lamp chops. These bad boys are bursting with flavor. They're grilled to perfection, juicy and tender, with a char that gives a little kick. Each bite is a savory explosion that makes you want to scream, "let's put down the towels on the bed" and the chili oil on top chefs kiss Overall, Marble Ring is a must-visit. The vibe is chill, the food is kick-ass, and every dish is a testament to what great cooking is all about. Don't skip this place if you want a meal that's worth every damn penny.

Haven't frequented this establishment for a few years. However since I live in the neighborhood I've seen all the activities around the recent upgrades. Therefore I was eager to revisit this night. The warm atmosphere of earlier days has triumphantly returned. Could instantly feel the renewed energy of the space. Bar staff and support were top notch with their expedience and knowledgeable service. Probably found my new Favorite cocktail(s). Harlem Nights [Cognac, Strawberry Lavender, Lemon, Soda] was absolutely perfect to set the mood for the evening. Juan Valdes [Vodka, Coffee Liqueur, Espresso and cream added upon request] was an amazing nightcap of a dessert. I have once again discovered my local hangout.

I adore the Marble Ring. I love the speakeasy vibe and using the telephone to get in. I miss when it didn't have signs and was truly a hidden gem but I'm glad people are discovering it now. I miss the old owner! Haven't seen him in a while but he was always so personable. The staff is always super friendly. The addition of the food upon being bought by Umami and Nori is great. I got a chance to try some last night and it was delicious. I recommend this place to everyone and love coming to just relax and vibe here. I wish we had more speakeasies in Birmingham but I'm glad we have this one!

It has been about five or six years since my husband and I went to The Marble Ring. Recently we had an occasion to go, and we were totally surprised at the changes. Before it seemed small and a little closed in. They have completely remodeled. There is a HUGE sitting area at the bar which is totally cool, and the seating in the speakeasy is more open and much better. They have expanded and there is a huge area off from the main area which gives off a good vibe. I am glad they kept the decorative bathtub. They have a variety of specialty drinks as well as a limited selection of beer. Bartenders are more than helpful with the selection of drinks available. Fun place to grab a drink on a special night.

This event with Yelpers was so awesome. Food was great, drinks were fantastic. Bartender was so helpful and made accommodations for an allergy.
